It's a daily battle being a follower of Jesus and it is not for the weak. Pray, pray, pray. Keep your eyes on Jesus constantly and go to Him in prayer constantly, it is the ONLY way to have the strength and courage to "WALK THROUGH" the valleys. Put on your Armor daily and allow the Spirit of Christ to take up residence in your heart and show you His love. I surrender every day, I have to. Making time for the Lord is an imperitive part of our Christian growth. Listen, you have to make time to read your Bible and Pray, those 2 things take precedence over everything else. The Holy Spirit speaks to us and directs us through the Word! And Jesus wants to hear from us, He wants to know us. Sure, Jesus alreay knows us better than we know ourselves, but when He says, "I never knew you," He is saying that the person never communicated with Him, never opened up their heart to Him, never surrendered to Him, made Him Lord of their life and never made Him a part of their daily life.
